Anyone here any good with blender?

I have made up a mesh I like for a frigate design I use. unfortunately, I haven't the ability to do justice coloring it. I probably won't do anything with it but post some JPGs here, but will give credit if anyone wants to finish the thing

Re: Back-Linking Spreadsheets... or not?

back-linking is one more thing to go wrong. And it's beyond most people to fix if it does; I can sort of fumble along, but I have to get lucky to make it go

Re: Planetary Bombardment

The high stat (And therefore more success) races are the ones that have already likely cost you a mint in destroyed naval units; lowering the reward on just them but leaving the income intact on pushover NPRs seems a bit mean-spirited, and could possibly tip the balance of power between players earl...

Re: Couple of new guy questions

My middle boy (China/EL9 in our campaign), uses a CL design as his main nebula combat ship after long testing against his brother and mom's designs. He flies DN/BB/BC for most other combat, but his CL chews them apart in a nebula. That's interesting. What mix of weapons/engines does his race have? ...

Re: Couple of new guy questions

To my knowledge, Windows XP is the last thing it can run on, and even then you have to add and modify some system stuff. Re: Planetary Bombardment

Let us assume that both your race and the victim race have the same definition of "Prime Real Estate" Where they put the cities that are now covered with trace elements since said real estate is now radioactive, abet mildly and not indefinitely, one will have to settle for the less perfect...

Re: Sierra Two Two: Chapter 6 (Final Chapter)

Orwellian. Way back when you started posting about the TSU I looked at the history and said to myself "That can't be a stable society, long term." I think we just found the safety valve. The question now is, what happens when Australia mark 2 starts to become a problem? Crowbars from orbit...
