Note: Damage Listed for Missiles is for standard damage, Inactive Sheilds increase damage
      by 5x.
Note: fH does 4 points of damage against unsheilded targets.
Note: If players truely have to have nukes loaded on there missiles, any hit require
      two D10 die rolls added together to determine damage.  If the target is unsheilded
      the damage is doubled.  The cost is also increased by 10,000x per round.  They may
      may only be mounted on ship based missiles or fighter "fH".



I hope I imprinted this right. I want to proposal this chart for the Tactical portion of Cosmic Starfire. Its based on the 3rd addition Starfire rules that I use to have. Any opinions?

MTFootballFan,

Most humans resist change as it is usually more "work" to change things (even if the change in the long run will save energy), although some people seem to flock to change like moths to a flame. My point is, can you give us a quick breakdown of what you changed and why you thought it needed changing? My editions of 3rd and 3rdR are buried in a box so the why's of your change would be particularly helpful to me and insightful as well.

I just love how this game in particular makes people think; and often outside the box in new and wonderful ways.

I don't think that any other set of designers have heard of so many "What if... ?" or "Could you ... ?", or "If X interacts with Y, does Z happening seem to make sense?" in their forums.
I weary of the chasssse. Wait for me. I will be mercccciful and quick.

MTFootballFan, your table is missing multiple weapons types (CM, SBM, Pg etc). It also doesn't extend beyond 20 hexes. Personally, I would stick with the table from 3rdR, as it extends to 60 hexes, and as such allows for systems like ECM.
