Greetings!

Today the SDS has released the Classic Starfire core rules on Wargame Vault! We have made available the 3rd Edition Tactical Rules Revised, Imperial Starfire, and Sky Marshal #2 as PDFs... or you can buy all three in a bundle.

Based on the description on Wargame Vault, it sounds like the Starfire 3rd Edition Tactical Rules, Revised contains all of the technology from Crusade and ISW-4 (the Arachnid War) in addition to the technology that was included in the original 3rd Edition Starfire boxed set, is this correct?

The only difference between the rules on the CD and the rules on WGV is graphical covers. However, after I get the rest of Classic Starfire re-released (primarily the supplements), we will update the CD master.

I think there are a few gaps, primarily around Alkeda Dawn technology that wasn't adopted and some of the highest tech items lack descriptions. At the time it was to keep from overlapping with the supplements.

Thanks for the update on the content of the Tactical Rules.

I'm not as concerned about the Akelda Dawn technology and races as I typically play scenarios from the ISW 1-4 eras.
