I saw a link to this over on the Star Ranger Forum (www.star-ranger.com/forum) and thought ya'll might find it interesting. Basically the guy uses the bottom of plastic easter eggs and paints them into planets for table-top miniature games.

I think it looks pretty cool, though I'd want to find those really small plastic easter eggs to make moons and asteroids and stuff like that (instead of how he does it)...

He does quality work. I like the texturing.
Screw the rivets, I build models for atmosphere, not detail
