TFN Flag or Emblem

Postby Cralis on Fri 11 Sep 2015 01:04

I know that I've asked this before and someone answered it, but I can't seem to find the post. What was the TFN flag or emblem?

If you remember, or you know where it is, I need to find where that is described again.

Thanks!

Bonus points for anyone who might find the same thing for any other Classic Starfire race. And these bonus points may actually mean something...

I'll look in my collection of Nexus magazines. I think I saw something in there...

If it was in Nexus, it should be on the CD.

A search of flag, emblem, patch, star, and planet in all the novels revealed nothing for the TFN. Did find a hint:

“The officers (including Trevayne) wore full dress uniform for the occasion, and each left shoulder bore the distinctive patch which Trevayne had recently authorized for the Rim armed forces: a ring of stars (one for each Rim system) surrounding the planet-and-moon of the Federation.”

Excerpt From: “Insurrection.epub.” iBooks.

So sounds like the Federation Navy patch at least has the Earth and Moon on it.

The encyclopedia galactica page in Nexus for the TFN shows the uniform, and describes the officer rank insignia.
ISTR the patch isn't readily ID'd, but is shown.
