ORIGINS 2002    Plan for the Future! - Aug 27th, 2001 Next year Origins will be run by GAMA on July 4-7, 2002. Expected attendance at Origins 2002 is 10,000 people. And I'll present running the Starfire Tournament. Rumor has it that GameBase 7 will be running the entire Boardgame area at Origins. Starfire Tournament --- 2002 Qualifier Rounds Thur 10 AM, 12 PM(noon), 2 PM Fri 12 PM (Noon), 2 PM, 5 PM, 7 PM Sat 10 AM Semi-Final -- Sat Noon Final -- Sat 2 PM STARFIRE SEMINAR -- Sat 7 PM Meet at GameBase 7 HQ (maybe changed later). Prize from SDS -- $20 Gift certificate and possible medal. Cost Standard Generic Ticket price. Wording on the event Galactic Starfire -- A meeting engagement between two small squadrons occurs in deep space. Who will survive? Top four scores advance to semi-finals Saturday at Noon. If you are willing to run the tournament for a few hours or help out, let me know.
