ELITE is the first expansion product produced for Galactic Starfire. 163 pages in 3 seperate PDF files. It contains dozens of optional rules, section rewrites, and rebalanced weapons. The section rewrites improved clarity & understanding and in some cases a new method of handling that part of the game.
Sections D9 (Automated Platforms), G (Small Craft), L4 (CFN), S (Graded Leaders), T2 (new Political Treaties), U (Intelligence), V (Ground Combat), Y (System Generation) and the J'Rill have rewrites. Major new optional rules are Nebulas, Galactic Oddities, Random Events, Player and NPR Race Design, and Unusual Life Forms (non-T/ST based). In addition, Small Craft and how they operate have undergone a Major Rewrite/fix in order to improve game balance and to speed play with them and automated defenses. All Technologies have been placed into a 2nd PDF and numerous new official items have been added including Heavy weapons, The Cutting Beam, Cloaking, Damage Control System, Inertia Capacitor, Drive Field Stablizer, Charged Partical Drive, Gravametric Drives, Anti-Matter Drive, Jammer, and External Beam Weapons. And then there are about a dozen Optional Weapons. A third PDF contains reorganized tables and charts plus a full set of the new combat tables which were rebalanced and tweaked to correct of a couple of minor design errors we discovered in GSF. The three PDFs of ELITE contain 160+ pages of material including a Table of Contents and an Index.
As an electronic product, all errata are directly incorporated into the Elite PDF and periodically sent to all purchasers who have I have valid E-mail addresses for.
