Made a little mistake on the upload. It'll be fixed tomorrow :)

Just found this and the Quick Start rules on Wargame Vault.

One trick I've done, is I've loaded QS pdf file into the TTS game. This makes it very handy while learning.

Also, I've loaded a dice roller onto the board, also very handy.

Glad you're finding the tabletop sim module useful! I didn't add anything extra to it (like dice or rules) because A) I wanted it to be as rules agnostic as possible and B) It's really easy for someone to add them in and customize their own experience :)

If you have any suggestions, let me know!

Alright, time to pull this thread out of mothballs.... Wait, it's going to cost THAT much to refit it?

Ugh. Okay, I guess. Pay the man, won't you Roquefort? There's a good aide.

Rejoice! In the course of me making some heavier use of the Starfire module for Tabletop Simulator, I identified a few places where it could stand to get some... improvements. The map was, to be blunt, hard to read in the middle. The galaxy looked cool, but it washed out the hex lines completely. Fortunately, Krenshala provided a MUCH more readable hex field to work with.

In addition, I added a bunch of chits for other various space objects so now you have:
    - Yellow, Orange (two kinds), Red, Blue Stars, and Brown Dwarfs
    - Updated Asteroid Chit
    - Dry, Molten, and Frozen Worlds
    - Gas Giant
    - Two varieties of habitable worlds

If you were already subscribed to it, then congrats! The update is already queued up for you (if not already downloaded). If you're still looking for it though, you can download the Starfire chits for free at:

Please note that the base game Tabletop Simulator is not free, but it usually goes on discount during steam sales :)

New to Starfire and TTS. Is the "chit" module all I need to play? I'm assuming I need to rules on how to actually play and the charts etc. Is anyone playing on TTS that I could watch a couple turns?
Thanks

Yes, as you assume the TTS module gives you a hex map and all the chits, but it doesn't include any of the rules/charts or ship designs. It also doesn't come pre-loaded with any dice (but TTS already has those, you can just spawn them in as you need).

We've done a few battles on TTS over on the discord, mostly pickup stuff as well as a few testing games. I'm not aware of any regular games being run, but I don't follow everyone's doing everything :)
