Treecat or polecat, if it is trying to eat my food - bad things are going to happen. ;)

And no, none of the three girls at my place have any of those names.

If you ask the 8 y/o, our girls are named, Cindergirl, Tay-Tay, and Princess.
Although the oldest one (FSC) is known for some rather unique views on combat in space. :D

Haha, it almost seems like she is allergic to having more than one or two ships in combat at a time :) The Dutchman may be lucky, but he needs a bigger fleet...

HAHAHAHAHAHAHA! Humor aside, keep on posting Proycon, i'm loving the story. If you do lose your celery, and see something disturbing it, watch out if you attack. For rerence look in the relevant sections of The Honor of The Queen.
If you can't get rid off it by sending the Three Stooges over to it's side, then don't bother with anything else. It's indestructible.

I'm also looking forward to more fiction. Can we look forward to seeing the Laughs Brightly class of ships with multiple rapid firing SRW's?
Charles Rosenberg.

Alexei Timoshenko is the name of my protagonist in the fanfics, although I wish it could have been me.

The next part is done. It was rather vexing trying to get past how I would put the next parts together without making it an unreadable mess.
In the end, I decided I would rather make a mess and get on with the story than try to come up with a clean one and never have anything for folks to read.

So in the next day or two I should get it posted.

But isn't it March 2205 someplace else, Procyon (Hint, hint)

It is.
And the sad part is I have had the next couple of parts done for weeks now.
But I can't get away from work.

Only four RNs qualified to staff the NICU on evenings and nights.
Two are one month long 'vacations'.
One is off for three months following hip surgery.

Guess who has to cover the open shifts...

And to make it worse - we are down two other nurses d/t diagnosis of cancer.
So the floor is HORRIBLY understaffed.
After pulling doubles, I've actually been held over as I can't abandon a pt. To do so is a Federal violation/felony.
:(

Is work and life slowing down enough for us to possibly get part 10 of March 2205 for the Holidays ???

I've got through part 12 typed out.
But it isn't looking good.
Last night was a 12, and then they asked me to come in 4 hours early to help cover the floor.
And a pair of deliveries at change of shift last night kept me 2 hours late....
So I just curled up on a recliner to catch a few ZZZZs before clocking in for tonight....

My director even came in and talked to me - that she was going to have to change a couple of my shifts later in the week to 'call back pay', because the overtime budget was exhausted. And call back at least pays the same at time and a half...

So I have hope that staffing gets better.
But no firm idea when I will be able to get the parts posted.

(But tator93 is loving the paychecks for Xmas.
At least I think so. We don't see each other to often at the moment. :( )
