I'll read them this evening while I keep an eye on the forecast.

Alexei Timoshenko is the name of my protagonist in the fanfics, although I wish it could have been me.

Just checked your map and updated system list. Given your overall distances I'm a bit surprised that there are no connections to Sirius yet.

Sirius hooks into these stars:
Procyon: 5.22306 light-years, class F5 IV-V
V577 Monoceri: 5.57105 light-years, class M4.5e V
Luyten's Star: 5.76421 light-years, class M3.5n V
Kapteyn's Star: 7.47791 light-years, class M0 V
Epsilon Eridani: 7.8483 light-years, class K2 V

Luyten and Procyon are have made an appearance. Sirius would be in the next wave. I know it's a bit odd, because Sirius is closer to the Sun than Procyon, but the astrographics of wormholes work things out like that.

8-)
In closing, all I have to say is: Shield, Shield, Shield, Armor, Armor, Armor, Hold, I-drive, Missile Launcher...

It's nice to see a few stars above M class although there aren't that many in the local stellar neighborhood.

Fiction is coming along nicely. I'm about to start chapter 3 of me Early Years of the Terran Federation series.

I'm still alive! Just really busy. I'll be working on the fiction and the next scenario over the holiday break.

Okay, I went back and edited the first few fiction posts. Nothing major, just making some sections flow more smoothly. I'm going to finish the story that sets up the scenario at Alpha Centauri, and then go back and tinker with the first two scenarios to bring them up to the full Quick Start Rules set.

Sorry it's taken so long to do this--been really swamped with home stuff and work.
