I was looking over my ship designs for the Mywiel, since I don't know how much I'll write for that new campaign on the horizon, but I very probably will make ship renders.
I just realized I never posted the render from the animation. Since by now I have a NVIDIA card that can perform GPU renders, here it is, a Falindë Beta class firing her armament:

I think its because there is a limitation on how big of area it can be allowed to take.

I meant more the weird pixels on edges, which I think is a failure of transparency. The images I posted are already reduced size thumnails, and tinier ones don't look better.
